PLO 1. To know their rights and responsibilities as a member of society, to understand the values of civil society, the rule of law, human and civil rights and freedoms in Ukraine. PLO 6. Identify skills of search, collection and analysis of information, calculation of indicators to justify management decisions. PLO 9. Demonstrate skills of interaction, leadership, teamwork. PLO 16. Demonstrate skills of independent work, flexible thinking, openness to new knowledge, be critical and self-critical.

Full-time form

1. Know the basic concepts of logic and methodology of scientific research. 2. Be able to translate the language of everyday communication and mass media into scientific language. 3. Have basic skills in using analytical materials and scientific publications.

The course is aimed at studying stable, orderly social ties, due to the activities of various groups and communities, theoretical approaches to their explanation and the consequences of various types of social inequalities. The course focuses on the idea that social structures and social relations are an expression of social inequalities as mandatory features of any society, and the positions of individuals, groups of people in the system of hierarchies shape the specifics of life chances, worldviews and behaviors.
