Learning outcomes
PRN 6. Use professional arguments to convey information, ideas, problems and ways to solve them to specialists and non-specialists in the field of economic activity. PRN 7. Explain the models of socio-economic phenomena in terms of fundamental principles and knowledge based on understanding the main directions of economic science. PRN 12. Apply the acquired theoretical knowledge to solve practical problems and meaningfully interpret the results. PRN 19. Use information and communication technologies to solve socio-economic problems, prepare and present analytical reports. PRN 26. Determine supply and demand in the labor market, analyze the structure of employment and unemployment.

Course content
Macroeconomic aspects of labor are revealed. Current problems of the labor market are covered. Socio-labor relations and labor economics at the micro level are analyzed. The population and labor potential of society, human capital, employment and unemployment are studied. The system of social and labor relations and their regulation by methods of social partnership, the activities of the ILO are analyzed. Skills are acquired in the issues of labor organization, labor efficiency, wage organization, planning, analysis, reporting, auditing and consulting in the field of labor at enterprises. The concept of Human Development as a goal and criterion of socio-economic progress is revealed.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lecture, seminar, independent scientific work. Participation in discussions at seminars, discussion of tasks, performance of practical tasks (tasks, cases). Execution of research on the chosen topic and presentation of its results. Tests. Case study, etc.
Assessment methods and criteria
Semester assessment of 60 points maximum / 36 points minimum: 1. Modular test 1 - PH 1.1 - 1.4, 2.1 - 2.3, - 10 points / 6 points 2. Modular test 2 - PH 1.4, 3.1, 3.2, 4.1, 4.2 - 10 points / 6 points 3. Execution of individual tasks - RN 2.1 - 2.3, 3.1 - 3.2 10 points / 6 points 4. Oral answers РН1.1 - 1.2, 2.1 - 2.3 10 points / 6 points 5. Independent scientific work - 20 points / 12 points Final assessment in the form of an exam 40 points maximum / 24 points minimum
