Learning outcomes
PLO1 Communicate fluently on professional issues with specialists and non-specialists in the state and foreign languages orally and in writing, use them to organize effective intercultural communication. PLO6 Use information and communication technologies to solve complex specialized tasks and problems of professional activity. PLO12 Analyze language units, determine their interaction and characterize linguistic phenomena and processes that determine them. PLO14 Use the Crimean Tatar language in oral and written form, in different genre-style varieties and registers of communication (official, informal, neutral), to solve communicative tasks in everyday, social, educational, professional, scientific spheres of life.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
To know: -successful mastery of professional disciplines during the first year of study; -knowledge of phonetic laws, grammatical constructions and syntax rules of the Crimean Tatar language; be able to: -use basic and professionally oriented knowledge of the basics of philology, history, sociology and cultural studies; -apply the acquired knowledge in practice. have basic skills of cognitive and professional activity; culture of thinking, its general laws.
Course content
The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the main provisions of modern translation studies, to form a practical basis for the translation skills necessary for their future work. The course is aimed at developing a conscious translation activity based on understanding the regularities of the translation process as an act of interlingual communication, its limits, the ability to identify translation problems, develop strategies and tactics for solving them in specific conditions. The aim of this course is to provide students with the professional competence to carry out translation activities in the field of professional communication.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Work in practical classes, oral answers, written assignments, test exercises in practical classes.
Assessment methods and criteria
In the fourth semester, the course ends with an exam. Students who have scored a total of less than the critical-calculated minimum of 45 points are not allowed to take the exam. For students who have not reached the critical grade level (45 points) during the semester, in order to be admitted to the exam, they must work on the missed topics in writing and submit/email them to the teacher conducting the practical classes. The semester final grade is formed by the points obtained by the student in the course of the specified types and forms of training and obtained at the exam. The maximum distribution is based on the following algorithm: 60 points (60%) - semester control and 40 points (40%) - exam.
