Learning outcomes
PLO 4. Demonstrate skills to identify problems and justify management decisions. PLO 5. Describe the content of the functional areas of the organization. PLO 6. Demonstrate skills of search, collection and analysis of information, calculation of indicators to justify management decisions. PLO 8. Apply management methods to ensure the effectiveness of organizations of various types of economic activity. PLO 16. Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of the courses: "History of Management", "Management", " Management of organizations", "Organizational design", "Statistics for economists", "Economics of an Enterprise". 2. Knowledge of theoretical foundations of economic theory, macro- and microeconomics, psychology, sociology, law, management, economics of the enterprise. 3. To be able to calculate the characteristics describing the company's operations; to process statistical data; to analyze statistical information. 4. To have elementary skills: mathematical modeling, forecasting, using Microsoft Office Word, Microsoft Office Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint.
Course content
Content Module 1: Operational system of the organization and operational management. The concept of the operational system and its types. The task, content and stages of operational management of the operational system. The prerequisites and essence of organizational design. The process of creation and development of new products in the enterprise. Content module 2. Organization and management of the production infrastructure of the company. The place and role of the operational infrastructure, its composition and tasks. The essence and tasks of repair, energy, transport and storage facilities of the enterprise. The organization of property control at the enterprise.

Information-traditional with elements of problem-oriented learning: lectures, seminars, independent work, consultations, analysis of practical situations, performance of individual-calculation tasks.
Assessment methods and criteria
1. Oral questioning, discussion (LO 1.1-1.3; 2.1-2.5; 3.1.3.3;4.1-4.2) - 10 points / 6 points; 2. Problem solving (control works) (LO 1.1-1.3; 2.1-2.5; 3.1.3.3;4.1-4.2) - 40 points / 24 points; 3. Independent work (2 written works, 5 points each max) (LO 1; 2.1-2.3;3.2;4) - 30 points / 18 points; 4. Final control work (LO 1.1-1.3; 2.1-2.5; 3.1.3.3;4.1-4.2) - 20 points / 12 points. The final assessment is carried out in the form of a written control work.
