PRN6 Use information and communication technologies to solve complex specialized problems and problems of professional activity. PRN8. To know and understand the system of language, general properties of literature as an art of speech, history of Belarusian, Ukrainian languages and Belarusian, Ukrainian, Czech / Polish literatures, to be able to apply this knowledge in professional activity, in the field of Slavic studies. Prerequisites and co-requisites
Successful mastering of courses: Introduction to Literary Studies, Introduction to Slavic Philology, Folklore of Western and Eastern Slavs, Linguistics of Belarus, History of Belarusian Literature from the beginning to the end of the XVI century.1. Know:features of the literary process in Belarus in the XI-XVI centuries, genres and styles of ancient Belarusian literature; creative biographies of the most prominent cultural figures, the history of creation and features of the poetics of iconic works of art. 2.Be able to:connect theoretical knowledge with specific phenomena of fiction and general historical and literary facts; analyze the works of art read in the original and translated, taking into account the development of general aesthetic trends of the day; to assess the phenomena of Belarusian and world literature in their inseparable unity.3.Possess:basic skills of reading and listening to Belarusian-language texts, principles of search, collection and other .
Course content
to give students systematized information about the development of Belarusian literature of the XVII and XVIII centuries; to get acquainted with the most important achievements of literature in the context of the East Slavic written tradition, national spiritual history and culture in order to form the necessary professional competencies of a Belarusian philologist. The discipline is Part 2 of the Complex discipline "History of Belarusian Literature". Designed to highlight the peculiarities of the development of Belarusian literature of the Baroque, Enlightenment and Classicism; to get acquainted with the iconic works of this period, included in the context of national history and traditions. It consists of two parts: I. Literature of the Baroque era (late XVI-XVII centuries); Part 2. Literature of the Enlightenment and Classicism (late seventeenth and eighteenth centuries); provides 2 content modules and 1 module test.

Lectures and seminars, management of independent work and control over its implementation, individual consultations, exam.
Assessment methods and criteria
After lectures on relevant topics, seminars are held, which are evaluated according to the types of work and forms of control:oral report/presentation/ compilation of bibliography on the topic(max.6b.), Analysis of the work of art(max.5b.),Abstract/essay (max.10b.),modular test(max.5b.),additions, participation in the discussion(max.3b.).During the semester written works are checked, individual consultations are held,the level of assimilation of the material submitted for independent processing is estimated.The final assessment is conducted in the form of a comprehensive exam. Students who scored a total of two points less than the critical-calculated minimum - 37 points, are not allowed to take the exam. The semester final grade is formed by the points received by the student in the course of performance of the declared types and forms of training. Maximum distribution is carried out by algorithm:60 p.(60%)-sem.cont. & 40 p.(40%) - exam.
