PRN 5 Cooperate with colleagues, representatives of other cultures and religions, adherents of different political views, etc. PRN 11 To know the principles, technologies and methods of creating oral and written texts of various genres and styles in the state, Czech and English languages. PRN 15 To carry out linguistic, literary and Slavic philological analysis of texts of various styles and genres. PRN16 To know and understand the basic concepts, theories and concepts of Czech linguistics and literature, to be able to apply them in professional activities.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. To know the history of Ukrainian and world literature within the framework of the school curriculum, to have general factual knowledge of a humanitarian nature; the basics of the communicative aspect of the Czech language; 2. Be able to connect theoretical knowledge with specific phenomena of fiction and general historical and literary facts; analyze works of art taking into account the time of their creation, aesthetic value, genre forms and stylistic features; plan and evaluate own work. 3. Have basic skills in reading and translating texts in the Czech language; principles of information search, collection, accumulation and processing.
Course content
to contribute to students' formation of systematized knowledge about the development of ancient Czech literature from the first written monuments to the beginning of the era of national revival; to familiarize with the most significant assets of ancient Czech literature in the context of national spiritual history and culture. ND is the first part of the complex discipline "History of Czech Literature", studies the processes of the formation of writing in the Old Slavonic and Czech languages on the territory of the modern Czech Republic; the most important historical and cultural events that were reflected in the artistic creativity of the 9th - 18th centuries, the connections of ancient Czech literature with other national cultures, in particular Slavic peoples. The discipline consists of two content modules: ZM.1. "Czech literature of the Middle Ages (middle of the 19th - end of the 15th centuries)" and ZM.2. "Renaissance and Baroque period literature (late 15th - late 18th centuries)". Classes are held in the form of lectures and seminars, taking into account the student's independent work. The form of final control is credit.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures and seminars, guidance of independent work and monitoring of its implementation, individual consultations, assessment.
Assessment methods and criteria
After the lectures, seminar classes are held on relevant topics, at which the planned types of work and forms of control are assessed: oral presentation/analysis of an artistic work (max. 5), abstract/essay (max. 10), additions, participation in a discussion (max. 3 ), presentation (max. 6), modular control work (max. 15), assessment (max. 20). During the semester, written works are checked, individual consultations are held, and the level of assimilation of the material assigned for independent study is assessed. The credit is given based on the results of the student's work during the semester and does not include additional assessment measures. Students who scored 60 points (minimum positive number of points) receive "enrolled". Credit control work is provided for students who wish to improve their final semester grade.
