Course content
The discipline "Plant Ecophysiology and Human Health" highlights the impact of various natural and anthropogenic factors on plant metabolism, ways of entering these substances into the human body, their effect on physiological processes of the human body and allows to understand how to ensure prevention with a balanced diet diseases under conditions of anthropogenic pollution. While studying the discipline, students get acquainted with alternative methods of growing environmentally friendly agricultural products, optimal agronomic techniques for growing plants in closed and open ground to reduce the accumulation of toxic and carcinogenic substances; learn to select plant products, taking into account their nutritional and biological value for disease prevention.
