PR02. Understand the basic environmental laws, rules and principles of environmental protection and nature management. PR03. Understand basic concepts, theoretical and practical problems in the field of natural sciences, which is necessary for analysis and decision-making in the field of ecology, environmental protection and optimal use of nature. PR05. Know the conceptual basis of monitoring and regulation of anthropogenic pressure on the environment. PR11. Be able to predict the impact of technological processes and industries on the environment. PR21. Be able to choose the best methods and tools for research, data collection and processing.

Full-time form

To know - the general laws of functioning and features of the structure of the Earth and the earth's crust. Be able to distinguish the main types of geological rocks. Have basic skills - working with simple optical instruments, compliance with safety in the laboratory.

In the discipline there is an acquaintance with general information about geology as a science; ideas about the shape, structure and relief of the Earth and its historical development are covered. Exogenous and endogenous processes, as well as the main structural elements of the earth's crust are considered.
