PR02. Understand the basic environmental laws, rules and principles of environmental protection and nature management. PR03. Understand the basic concepts, theoretical and practical problems in the field of natural sciences that are necessary for analysis and decision making in PR19. Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know - the general patterns of structure of invertebrates, algae and fungi. Be able to classify species of invertebrates, algae and fungi in accordance with the principles of modern phylogenetic classification. Have basic skills - working with simple optical instruments, compliance with safety in the laboratory.
Course content
The discipline concerns the population-species level of the organization of fauna and flora as an object of research of a wide range of biologists and ecologists. The discipline is designed to form an idea of the place of invertebrates, algae and fungi in the organic world, their ecological role and significance for the biosphere, the origin and general patterns of evolution of these creatures and their individual development
