Assessment methods and criteria
The course is taught in the introductory session (semester 0), where a task is given to perform a control work, and in the 1st semester of the 1st year of study, where at the seminar the performed control work is protected in the process of public discussion. A mandatory condition for admission to credit is the defense of the test work, prepared in the form of an essay. Evaluation in the form of an exam, which is conducted in a "mixed" form: testing + oral answer to at least 3 test questions (which were previously answered incorrectly) - a maximum of 40 points, - taking into account the sum of points scored during the semester. Seminars are held on topics in the form of a discussion of essays prepared by students ("round table" on the topic of the seminar), which gives a result in the sum of 30-60 points. For students who scored a total of less points than the critical calculated minimum - 30 points, in order to be admitted to the exam, - an individual task.
