Learning outcomes
PLO 3. Demonstrate knowledge of theories, methods, and functions of management, modern concepts of leadership. PLO 4. Demonstrate skills to identify problems and justify management decisions. PLO 7. To identify skills of organizational design. PLO 8. Apply management methods to ensure the effectiveness of the organization. PLO 10. Have the skills to justify effective tools to motivate the staff of the organization. PLO 11. Demonstrate skills of situation analysis and communication in various areas of the organization. PLO12. Assess the legal, social, and economic consequences of the organization.
Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of courses: "History of Management", "Economic Theory", "Microeconomics", "Macroeconomics". 2. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of psychology, sociology, law. 3. Be able to justify management decisions, process statistical data, analyze statistical information. 4. Have basic skills: mathematical modeling, forecasting, using Microsoft Office Word, Microsoft Office Excel, Microsoft Power Point.
Course content
The curriculum consists of the following content modules. Content module 1. Theoretical foundations of management. The concept of management, approaches, laws and principles of management. Definition of organization in society and economy. Management decisions and the process of making them. Content module 2. Management functions. The essence of planning, its types. Fundamentals of organizational design. The concept of motivation and the content of motivational theories. The concept and process of control in management.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Information-traditional with elements of problem-oriented learning: lectures, seminars, independent work, consultations, individual project implementation, situation analysis, creative tasks, business game "Individual and group decision making", active teaching methods: lesson "Auction" , lesson "Everything is in your hands", lesson "Scholar Manager"
Assessment methods and criteria
Current assessment: (max. points 60 / min. points 36) 1. Survey and consideration of situational tasks (LO 1.1-1.3 .; 2.1-2.4; 3.1-3.3; 4.1-4.2) - 40 points / 24 points; 2. Independent work - calculation and individual tasks (LO 1.1-1.3 .; 2.1-2.4; 3.1-3.3; 4.1-4.2) - 20 points / 12 points. Final assessment in the form of an exam
