Prerequisites and co-requisites
The student must know: the principles of communicative competence of the teacher, the essence of it’s categories, principles, requirements for personal and professional qualities of the teacher, specifics of student age, its crises; the student must be able to: originally and creatively use in teaching, research and teaching activities knowledge of professional and pedagogical competence of higher education teachers.
Course content
The goal of the discipline is for students to acquire knowledge of the theory and practice of pedagogical conflict studies; formation of conflict-related competence; abilities, skills necessary for effective activities related to the prevention and successful resolution of pedagogical conflicts in higher education institutions; achievement of constructive relations built on the principles of cooperation. The main categories, the history of development abroad and in Ukraine, the theory and practice of effective communication in pedagogical conflict, methods, technologies of its resolution are revealed. The discipline reveals the issues of prevention, typology, dynamics of pedagogical conflicts and provides recommendations on possible methods of overcoming them. Much attention is paid to conflict resolution strategies, mediation, pedagogical conflict resolution techniques using business games, training exercises, critical essay, creative work, collage and multimedia presentations.

Lectures, seminars, practical classes, independent work, practical tasks, surveys, preparation of presentations, analytical materials, reports, discussion of conflict situations, training exercises, discussion of solutions to business role-playing games, practical situations, defense of practical tasks
Assessment methods and criteria
Analytical report, creative tasks, practical work, final test, evaluation of training exercises, collage, creative writing, programs of educational trajectory of the future teacher The control is carried out over the credit-transfer accumulative system. Mandatory for admission to the test is the performance of control work. For students who scored a total of less than the critical-critical minimum - 40 points to obtain admission to the test must perform a creative task of increased complexity. The recommended minimum for admission to the test - 60 points. Assessment of students is carried out during all types of classes and the results of independent work. The grade is formed as the sum of all points earned during the semester. The number of points: 0-59 - "not credited"; 60-100 - "credited".
