Learning outcomes
PLO2. Confidently speak the state language, Turkish, a second Turkic language and English for written and oral communication, in particular in situations of professional and scientific communication; present the results of their research in the state, Turkish and English.
PLO5. To find the best ways of effective interaction in a professional team and with representatives of other professional groups of different levels.
PLO6. Apply knowledge of expressive, emotional, logical means of language and speech techniques to achieve the planned pragmatic result and organise successful communication.
PLO13. Explain the essence of specific philological issues and one's own point of view on them and its justification to both specialists and the general public, including students, in an accessible and reasoned manner.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Before studying this course, students must have the skills of scientific research and information management; critical attitude to the analysed language structures; use of foreign language professional informative sources; work with diverse texts in Turkish. The discipline "Communicative Strategies of the Turkish Language" is part of the cycle of professional training for master's degree students and, along with the discipline "Culture of Speech: Academic and Business Discourse", completes the theoretical and practical course of disciplines related to the improvement of language skills.
Course content
The discipline "Communicative Strategies of the Turkish Language" introduces students to the basic and conceptual principles of analysing speech behaviour within the framework of an intercultural approach to achieve the speaker's goals in specific speech situations in the Turkish-speaking environment. The study of this discipline involves a detailed analysis of the principles, rules and conventions of communication; causes and consequences of communicative deviations; etiquette and language norms of Turkish conversational and business discourses; culturally specific features of the mentality, ideas, values of representatives of Turkish culture.

Work with text corpora, the Internet, audiovisual materials; oral report, preparation of presentations, written work.
Assessment methods and criteria
Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the material learned, in particular, assessment of theoretical training - learning outcomes (knowledge), which is 40% of the total grade, and assessment of practical training - learning outcomes (skills), which is 60% of the total grade.
Assessment of semester work:
1. Work in practical classes: 12/30 points.
2. Oral report: 4/10 points.
3. Module tests №1 and №2: 15/20 points.
4. Credit: 14/20 points.
