Know the basic concepts, the essence of social and economic processes of legal regulation of staff management.
Be able to apply the legal norms governing relations in the field of staff management.
Evaluate, draw up and express own conclusions, results;
Draft legal documents in the field of staff management, to build personnel strategy of an enterprise.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the theoretical provisions, concepts and categories of labor law, the main provisions of regulations of labor law, the principles of staff management
2. Be able to provide a proper legal assessment of the application of current labor legislation, to identify imperfections of legal norms and problems in their enforcement.
3. Possess basic skills of interpretation of labor legislation, drafting of various types of documents in the field of protection of labor rights in case of employment termination.
Course content
Forms and methods of teaching this discipline are aimed at forming knowledge about the theoretical foundations of the content and essence of staff management, the formation of practical skills in the application of legal norms governing relations in the field of staff management. Within the framework of the discipline the issues of construction methods and implementation of effective staff policy and effective use of labor potential of enterprises, foundations and organizations are studied. Issues related to the relationship between staff management and labor law, construction and importance of personnel policy, selection and hiring, staff adaptation, employee motivation, professional development of staff, formation of professional culture, assessment of professional qualities of staff.

Assessment methods and criteria
The maximum final grade for this discipline can be 100 points. A student can receive a maximum of 60 points in the credit, to which the points obtained by the student during seminars are added. To obtain an overall positive grade in the discipline, the grade for the credit cannot be less than 36 points. If the student scored less than 36 points in the credit, the latter are not added to the semester grade (regardless of the number of points obtained during the semester), the information in the column "credit scores" is "0" and only the number of points obtained during the semester is transferred to the “final grade” column.
