- Basic concepts and terms of geoelectrics - Physical and mathematical bases of all basic geoelectric methods - General principles of equipment construction and methods of field work - Approaches to solving direct and inverse problems of geoelectrics - Work with geoelectric devices - Calculate anomalous fields and build three-dimensional geoelectric models

1. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of electrometry. 2. Have the skills to work with a personal computer.

The program focuses on the physical and mathematical foundations of electromagnetic methods; as well as the principles of structure of equipment and methods of field work. Approaches to solving direct and inverse problems are considered. Methods of qualitative and quantitative interpretation are explained by individual anomalies. Areas of application of geoelectric methods on real examples are characterized. The main results obtained for the last are included in the consideration years as a result of geoelectric research in different regions of our planet.

Lectures, practical classes, independent work of students

The control is carried out according to the module-rating system and provides: performance of practical works (where students have to demonstrate the quality of the acquired knowledge and solve the tasks using the methods and tools outlined by the teacher) and conducting 3 written modular tests works. The final assessment is conducted in the form of a written exam
