Learning outcomes
Know the notions necessary for mathematical calculations in business and finance. Know the main mathematical functions. Know the techniques for preparing input data and their primary analysis. Know the main financial functions. Be able to apply the software for mathematical calculations. Be able to create the input data for further analysis. Be able to analyze the structure of the quantitative data with the descriptive statistics and distribution fitting. Be able to calculate simple and compound interest and depreciation. Master the skills of conducting discussions during selection of the calculation methods. Master the skills of conducting discussions during interpreting results. Make and rationalize a decision on the algorithm of mathematical calculations. Make and rationalize efficiency of financial decisions with mathematical calculations.
