            Learning outcomes
        
        
            To know specific terminology; sources of international economic statistics; means to prepare input data and their primary analysis; main methods and approaches of quantitative analysis.
To be able to find international economic statistical data, use software for quantitative analysis, create input database, solve problems with missing data and outliers, analyze structure of numerical data with  descriptive statistics and distribution analysis, apply various quantitative methods for analyzing international economic relations, interpret results of quantitative analysis, consider limitation of input data and quantitative methods, adjust algorithms of research.
Communication for determining algorithm of research and interpreting results.
To make and reason decision on choosing a method of economic and mathematical modelling, on foreign economic policy considering results of quantitative analysis.

            - To know theoretical aspects, indicators and main regulation tools for various forms of international economic relations.
- To be able to apply mathematical tools for describing economic processes.
- To have basic skills in modern information technologies.
- To know English or other foreign languages for better opportunities for study of  examples of modern empirical research on international economic relations and using special software.

            1. Sources of international economic statistics.
2.Special software for quantitative analysis.
3.Creating input databases.
4.Descriptive statistics, data distribution for analyzing balance of payments and exchange rate.
5.Correlation methods for  analyzing international economic relations.
6. Analysis of proportions and signal approach for analysis of currency crises.
7. Analysis of means for studying international investments.
8. Analysis of variance for studying international trade.
9.Linear regression analysis for research on the effects of international economic relations on economic growth. 
10.Nonlinear regression analysis for evaluation of  impact of factors on international trade and currency crises.
11.Examples of empirical models of international economic relations.
12.Cluster analysis as classification method.
13. Graphical tools for analyzing international trade and investments.
