Learning outcomes
To know: features of the economy of the EU countries; main indicators of the state and dynamics of socio-economic development of EU member states; stages of their economic development; the system of foreign economic relations of the EU member states; To be able to: identify the characteristics and trends of integration / disintegration processes of European and Euro-Atlantic integration; to identify trends in the economic development of EU member states; to assess the impact of changes in macroeconomic indicators on the economies of EU member states; to apply economic patterns to analyze the problems associated with the functioning of the economies of EU member states; to identify the causes and assess the consequences of national, regional and global socio-economic factors, phenomena and processes that affect the economic development of EU member states. Communication in the process of presenting the results of the study and defending the reliability of the results

Prerequisites and co-requisites
A student must have general knowledge of the patterns of behavior of economic entities in market conditions, be proficient with universal tools for making informed decisions on a choice when there are limited funds and alternative possibilities exist for their use; use methods of calculating key macroeconomic indicators; use macroeconomic terminology. In addition, a student must have the necessary qualifications to conduct a comparative statistical analysis of processes and phenomena occurring in the world economy and in individual countries and regions

Assessment methods and criteria
Presentation of cases, module test, presentations at seminars and tasks. Semester assessment is carried out in the form of testing knowledge and skills: 1. During an answer at the seminar (participation in the discussion); 2. In the form of writing individual analytical works during self-study of topics; 3. In the form of essay writing; 4. The form of final control in the discipline "Economics of EU member states" is a Pass-Fail Examination. The Pass-Fail Examination includes lecture topics, topics of seminar (practical) classes and self-study topics
