Learning outcomes
PLO 5. To find the most effective means of cooperation with professional staff and
professional groups at different levels. PLO 6.To apply the knowledge of expressive,
emotional and logical means of language and speech technique for planned and pragmatic
result and successful communication. PLO 12. To follow the rules of the academic virtue.
PLO 13. To explain the main points of the specific philological issues in a clear way, to
express the personal point of view and give the arguments for it to the academic community,
to the public and the students as well.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1) successful mastering of training courses accroding to the requirements of level 6
of the national qualifications framework;
2) basic theoretical knowledge on the structure of the psyche, factors and
mechanisms of personality formation;
3) understanding the essentials of the main regulators of activity and behavior in the
group and means of their use.
Course content
Objectives of the discipline – to study the mechanisms of laws and regulaions in
educational process of the higher education, to form the motivation of professional and
pedagogical development, competencies of academic and pedagogical activity, pedagogical
thinking, the ability to solve complex professional problems in teaching and consulting.
Annotation: to reveal the mechanisms of influence organization on personality in process
of education and training. To form the pedagogical thinking, learning to analyze
pedagogical reality, conscious mastering of professional and pedagogical skills. The
dscipline consists of two modules. The first one studies the methodology, didactics, the
system of work organization in higher education institutions. The second one is aimed at
theory, methodology, modern technologies of formation of pedagogical mastery of a
university teacher. A significant attention is paid to the training of practical skills in
professionally defined situations of the future academic and pedagogical staff member.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Activities: presentations, participation in discussion, presentation of independent tasks,
analysis, practical tasks, tests, solving pedagogical tasks, module test. Methods: lecture,
seminar, preparation of analytical materials, speeches, presentations, preparation of reports,
solving practical tasks, discussion of conflict situations, discussion of solutions to practical
situations, module test.
Assessment methods and criteria
Survey, speech, presentation, discourse: LR. 1.1 - 1.7
10 - knows the material fully, freely and is able to presents it, 9-8 - knows the material
sufficiently, freely presents it, may lack arguments, 7-6 - generally knows the material, but does not
demonstrate the depth of knowledge, does not rely refer to academic literature, materials, 1 - 5 -
demonstrates the level of knowledge-acquaintance.
To do the the training exercises: LR 2.1 - 2.6, assessment of speeches, presentations, solving
pedagogical problems, LR 3.1 - 3.4, individual tasks: 4.1
5 deeply and comprehensively reveals the content, uses compulsory and additional
literature, demonstrates independence; 4 demonstrates independence and
reliability of the research; minor inaccuracies are allowed; 3 demonstrates mediocre activity in
performing tasks; contains significant inaccuracies; 2-1 points - does not fully master the material.
Module test: 0,5 points for each correct answer.
Exam: 24 points min, 40 points max.
