PLO 2. Communicate fluently, both orally and in writing, in the state language and a foreign language on professional matters. PLO 3. Identify, formulate, and solve tasks in the field of social work by integrating theoretical knowledge with practical experience. PLO 4. Formulate well-reasoned judgments based on the analysis of social problems. PLO 8. Critically analyze and evaluate the current social policy of the country as well as socio-political processes at the national, regional, and local levels. PLO 12. Determine the content and scope of cooperation with partner organizations in the field of social work to accomplish professional tasks, including at the early intervention stage. PLO 18. Establish cooperation with representatives of various professional groups and communities; apply strategies of individual and collective advocacy to represent clients’ interests.

1)Know the essence of the fundamental concepts of social work, as well as the theories and methods of social work. 2)Be able to analyze and compare different perspectives on social phenomena and processes. Demonstrate skills in the critical evaluation of social events and societal developments

The aim of the course is to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the system of social work institutions, their functions, structure, and interaction; to develop knowledge of the legal and regulatory framework governing the activities of social institutions; and to foster practical skills in analyzing, evaluating, and effectively utilizing the resources of these institutions to address social problems. The course "The System of Institutions in Social Work" provides the theoretical foundation for understanding the nature of social institutions, their types, models of development, and the principles of their interaction with other social institutions. It also introduces students to various approaches to the classification of social institutions. The course examines social institutions as organized social systems characterized by structural stability and the integration of their constituent elements. Such systems ensure consistent patterns of social behavior, coordinate and regulate the means of meeting individuals’ needs, and contribute to social stability. The presence and functioning of these and other sociocultural elements that underpin the system of social institutions constitute an important focus of this course.

Final test: РН1.1; РН1.2; РН1.3; РН2.1; РН2.2: РН2.3; РН3.1; РНЗ.2; РН4.1 - 10/6 points. Final assessment: exam Conditions for admission to the exam: It is mandatory to complete module tests, obtaining the assessment results in total, must be at least 36 points / maximum 60 points. Students who scored a total of less points than the critical calculation minimum - 36 points - are not allowed to take the exam. The exam is conducted in the form of written answers on the course topic and completing case tasks, which are evaluated in min. 24 points / max. 40 points
