Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Possess knowledge from the disciplines “Experimental Psychology,” “Data Analysis in Psychology,” and “Psychodiagnostics.”
2. Be able to search for information in scientific literature.
3. Possess basic skills to identify, analyze, and explain mental phenomena, identify psychological problems, and propose ways to solve them; basic skills in using web browsers and office software.
Course content
Course objective: to familiarize students with the methodology and organization of psychological research in the online environment, the postmodern characteristics of cyberspace, the specifics of discourse analysis, conceptual analysis, and intent analysis of social networks; and to develop skills for conducting scientific research on the Internet.
The course is aimed at studying the specifics of scientific research conducted on the Internet, including experimental studies and online surveys, the features of content analysis and discourse analysis of social networks; the characteristics of online repositories and databases; methods of searching for sources and compiling bibliographies using online data search services; and the specific postmodern properties of the Internet environment.

Assessment methods and criteria
Assessment methods: analytical report, creative assignments, project, final written test.
Form of final assessment: pass/fail credit.
The pass/fail credit is awarded based on the student’s performance throughout the semester (the maximum number of points for semester work is 100) and does not require any additional assessment activities for students who have successfully completed the course requirements.
Students who have accumulated fewer than 60 points during the semester, but more than the minimum threshold of 40 points, are required to take the pass/fail credit assessment. The assessment is conducted in the form of an oral examination covering the course topics and completion of an individual creative assignment, worth 20 points in total.
Students who have accumulated fewer than the minimum threshold of 40 points during the semester are not admitted to the pass/fail credit assessment.
Grading scale: 0–59 – fail; 60–100 – pass.
