PRN27. Know and critically comprehend conceptual natural-geographical, social-geographical, cartographic, psychological-pedagogical knowledge and practically integrate them into professional scientific, pedagogical/innovative activities.
PRN28. Understand the methods of specialized geography teaching and extracurricular work aimed at forming key and subject-specific geographical competencies, professional worldview in students and be able to apply them in practice.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
To successfully master knowledge in the discipline, students must have basic knowledge of natural and social geography, as well as basic knowledge of geography teaching methods
Course content
familiarizing students with the theoretical and methodological foundations of geographical research, in particular, the basic concepts and paradigms of geographical science as a basis for applying theoretical knowledge and practical skills in geography, as well as general scientific methods of cognition and research activity, in teaching.
The academic discipline is dedicated to the study of basic concepts and paradigms of geographical science as a component of the theoretical level of scientific knowledge, and their impact on the object-subject field of geography in the context of the history of the development of Earth Sciences. When studying the discipline, special attention is paid to the formation of important competencies of a master of secondary education in the subject specialty of Geography.
