Learning outcomes
PLO1. Conduct search, analysis and synthesis of information from various sources to solve professional issues and establish cause-and-effect relationships between social events and phenomena. PLO3. Identify, formulate and solve tasks in the field of social work, integrating theoretical knowledge and practical experience. PLO5. Theoretically justify ways to overcome problems and complex life situations, choose effective methods to solve them, anticipate consequences. PLO6. Develop long-term and current plans, programmes for conducting events, make prompt effective decisions in complex situations. PLO10. Analyse socio-psychological processes in small and large groups. PLO13. Use social diagnostics methods in the process of assessing the problems, needs, specific characteristics and resources of clients. PLO19. Identify strengths and engage the personal resources of clients, social group and community resources to solve their problems and overcome complex life situations.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
A student should know: -the theoretical foundations of contemporary issues in psychology and social work, their перспективні (promising) research directions, and ways of addressing them; -the basics and principles of organizing, preparing, and conducting social work with a client/clients (both individual and group); -the specifics of applying methods and technologies of social work according to the type of client/service recipient. A student should be able to: -use modern methods of collecting, analyzing, and processing scientific information; -apply different strategies and approaches to understanding and explaining the problem under study. A student should be able to communicate, namely: -properly structure and publicly present (both orally and in writing) the results of conducted research; -appropriately apply ethical principles of socio-psychological research.
Course content
Here is a polished professional English translation: this type of internship is intended to develop professional skills and the ability to make independent decisions in specific areas of work (or on particular issues) under real working conditions through the performance of functions and tasks typical of the future profession. This internship is carried out during the preparation of the bachelor’s thesis and serves as the final stage of students’ practical training. During the internship, theoretical knowledge gained from professional disciplines is deepened and consolidated, and the formation of the empirical base for the qualification thesis and/or state examinations is completed. The aim of the internship is to develop students’ professional competencies, including the ability to make independent decisions in specific areas of work under real working conditions while performing duties characteristic of their future profession, as well as in organizational, managerial, and social activities.

Implementation of the practice program
Assessment methods and criteria
After the end of the practice period, students report on the completion of assigned tasks. All tasks performed by the student-intern are subject to a differentiated assessment by the head of practice from the department. The department approves the final generalized assessment. Students defend the internship report at the department meeting within the first 10 days after the end of the internship. The department's general head recommends that the department evaluate the student's practice in a certain way. The department makes the final decision. The practice has a differentiated credit; the assessment for the practice is entered in the credit and examination record and in the student's record book under the signature of the general supervisor from the department. The grade for practice is taken into account when determining the scholarship. Rating scale: 90 - 100 «excellent» 75 - 89 «good» 60-74 «satisfactory» 0-59 «unsatisfactory/failed»
