Form of study
Prerequisites and co-requisites
must know: psychological and social characteristics of different groups of clients; modern technologies of social interaction; theoretical principles of social work with risk groups; socio-psychological content of conflicts; the essence of psychological influence; psychological and social features of deviant behavior; basics of pathopsychology; must be able to: use psychodiagnostic techniques; use psychological methods of personality research; to establish appropriate relationships with clients taking into account their individual characteristics; identify current customer problems and help solve them; to implement technologies of contact interaction; must possess: technologies of crisis intervention, counseling and social support
Course content
The aim of the course is to prepare students for social work using various models of psychological assistance with clients in crisis situations and difficult life circumstances. Social work using various models of psychological assistance involves students mastering the basic technologies of psychodiagnostics, interventions, psychological counseling, and the basics of psychocorrection and psychotherapy. Such work requires mastering the technologies of providing social and psychological emergency assistance to clients in difficult life circumstances. Therefore, the organization of social work is based on a problem-oriented approach, which involves the activation and maintenance of the client's abilities and resources.

Assessment methods and criteria
Verbal answers, abstracts, modular control, exam. The maximum number of points per semester is 60 points. The form of the exam is written and verbal, in accordance with previously submitted creative tasks and projects. The minimum number of points of admission to the exam is 36 points. The number of points scored per semester is announced in advance. Evaluation scale: 0-59 points - fail, 60-74 points – satisfactory, 75-89 – good, 90-100 – excellent.
