Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of the courses History of Foreign Literature (parts 1-8), Fundamentals of Narrative Studies; Fundamentals of Genre Studies. 2. Successful mastering of the courses Methods of Teaching Foreign Literature in General Education Schools; Innovative Methods of Teaching Foreign Literature in the School of Specialized, Special and Distance Education.
Course content
The course aims to familiarize students with the latest practices of extracurricular education in the context of the Lifelong Learning concept, which is aimed at constantly updating the educational paradigm. During the course, students will have the opportunity to master modern methods of organizing literary circles and reading clubs. During the course, students will be able to master basic skills in organizing events in libraries and bookstores, learn how to develop an algorithm for presenting the work of classics and certain works of modern foreign literature at extracurricular educational events. The course allows students to master modern approaches to organizing thematically oriented YouTube channels and podcasts and try themselves as "ambassadors of change" in order to introduce a culture of reading foreign literature. The course provides an opportunity for the implementation of students' individual educational trajectory.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The course is designed to ensure the formation of methodological competence - knowledge and skills in planning and organizing the process of integrated literature learning. The course studies practical, organizational aspects, methodological technologies; a modern view of the formation of linguistic and literary competence of students is represented. The course combines various teaching methods, including lectures, practical classes, independent study, and project-based learning. Key student activities assessed throughout the semester include responses in practical classes, group/individual projects.
Assessment methods and criteria
Final score for the course constitutes a total of points for all forms of control and does not need any additional forms of evaluation. Forms of the current control include the sum of marks for answers at the seminars (min 15 / max 25 points), for individual project creating and presenting (min 6 / max 10 points), for students’ self-study (summarizing scientific articles on literature and methods of teaching; tasks creation) (min 9 / max 15 points), for lessons development (min 12 / max 20), and for final test paper consisting of three open questions (min 18 / max 30 балів). Students who did not manage to score 60 points during the term have to work for the classes and topics they missed by writing independent individual works.
