RL 1. Communicate fluently on professional matters with specialists and non-specialists in the national and foreign languages, both orally and in writing, and use these skills to facilitate effective intercultural communication. RL 2. Work effectively with information: select the necessary information from various sources, including specialist literature and electronic databases. RL 11. Know the principles, techniques and methods of creating spoken and written texts of various genres and styles in the national language and Spanish. RL 14. Use the Spanish language orally and in writing, in various genres, styles and registers of communication (formal, informal, neutral), to solve communicative tasks in the everyday, social, educational, professional and academic spheres of life.

Full-time form

By the beginning of the eith semester, students reach a B1–B2 level. They demonstrate confident spoken and written communication within everyday and professionally oriented topics, understand more complex authentic texts, use an extended range of grammatical structures (indicative and conditional tenses, complex sentences, pronominal constructions), and possess sufficient vocabulary for reasoned communication. Students should be able to participate in discussions, produce extended and logically structured statements, analyze texts, complete translation tasks, and work with various information sources. Additional requirements include active participation in classes, independent analytical work, adherence to academic integrity, effective teamwork, and development of intercultural communicative competence.

Transition to B1–B2 level: development of professionally oriented communication. Work with complex authentic texts, discourse analysis. Advanced grammar (complex syntactic structures, conditional mood). Development of public speaking, debating, and translation skills. Formation of intercultural communicative competence.

Practical classes focused on professionally oriented communication, debates, case studies, and presentations. Work with complex authentic texts and elements of discourse analysis. Methods: communicative, analytical, research-based, project-based. Independent work: analytical tasks, translations, preparation of reports and mini research projects.

Assessment is carried out in accordance with the ECTS system, which provides for a two-tier assessment of the material covered, including the assessment of practical training. Final assessment: The final assessment takes the form of a test: the maximum number of marks for the test is 20; the minimum number of marks (pass mark) required to pass, which are added to the semester marks, is 12 (60% of the maximum number of marks allocated for the test). The test consists of twenty questions, each worth 1 mark.
