Learning outcomes
PLO 1. Communicate fluently on professional matters with specialists and non-specialists in the national and foreign languages, both orally and in writing, and use these skills to facilitate effective intercultural communication. PLO 2. Work effectively with information: select the necessary information from various sources, including specialist literature and electronic databases. PLO 11. Know the principles, techniques and methods of creating spoken and written texts of various genres and styles in the national language and Spanish. PLO 14. Use the Spanish language orally and in writing, in various genres, styles and registers of communication (formal, informal, neutral), to solve communicative tasks in the everyday, social, educational, professional and academic spheres of life.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
By the beginning of the sixth semester, students reach an A2 level developed in previous semesters. They possess basic communicative skills in both spoken and written language, understand the main ideas of authentic texts on familiar topics, use fundamental grammatical structures (present, past, and near future tenses, pronouns, agreement), and have sufficient vocabulary for everyday communication. Students should be able to maintain dialogues, produce short coherent statements, complete basic translation tasks, and work with learning and digital resources. Additional requirements include active participation in classes, independent work, adherence to academic integrity, ability to work in teams, and development of intercultural communicative competence.
Course content
Further development at A2 level: improvement of speaking and writing in typical communicative situations. Work with moderately complex authentic texts. Study of grammar (past tenses, future tense, complex sentences). Development of description and basic argumentation skills. Introduction to translation tasks.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Practical classes involving simulation of typical communicative situations, text discussions, and development of description and basic argumentation skills. Work with authentic materials (texts, videos). Methods: communicative, situational, interactive. Independent work: written assignments, dialogue preparation, use of digital resources.
Assessment methods and criteria
Assessment is carried out in accordance with the ECTS system, which provides for a two-tier assessment of the material covered, including the assessment of practical training. Final assessment: The final assessment takes the form of a test: the maximum number of marks for the test is 20; the minimum number of marks (pass mark) required to pass, which are added to the semester marks, is 12 (60% of the maximum number of marks allocated for the test). The test consists of twenty questions, each worth 1 mark.
