Learning outcomes
PLO 2. Work effectively with information: select the necessary information from various sources, in particular from professional literature and electronic databases, critically analyze and interpret it, organize, classify and systematize it. PLO 3. Organize the process of one's own learning and self-education. PLO 5. Cooperate with colleagues, representatives of other cultures and religions, supporters of different political views, etc. PLO 16. Know and understand the basic concepts, theories and concepts of English philology, be able to apply them in professional activities. PLO 21.1. Know the forms, methods and technologies of teaching, upbringing and development of students of different ages using language / literature. Understand the features of personally oriented, competency-based and integrated teaching of English language and literature. Prerequisites and co-requisites
Students should know: - goals, content, approaches, methods and methodological techniques, means, forms of organizing the process of teaching a foreign language; - forms, methods and means of diagnosing students' success in a foreign language, psychological characteristics of students; Students must be able to: - effectively plan and implement the process of teaching a foreign language in high school in accordance with the tasks and conditions of study; - use modern methods, technologies of teaching a foreign language, technologies of diagnosing students' knowledge, skills and abilities in a foreign language; - select language material, techniques, means of teaching a foreign language; - draw up lesson plans.
Course content
Pedagogical practice (foreign language) is a complex process that is a component of the training of specialists in the educational and professional program "English Studies and Two Foreign Languages ​​(English as the language of instruction)" for future professional activity, and is designed to ensure that students acquire professional and pedagogical skills to work as a foreign language teacher. Pedagogical practice (foreign language) contributes to the development of professional self-awareness, communication culture, and the formation of theoretical, practical, and personal and motivational components of students' professional competence. Pedagogical practice includes the following types of work: attending and analyzing lessons of school teachers and classmates, conducting English lessons, credit lessons, preparing lesson plans and summaries; introducing original innovations in teaching English; drawing up a calendar and thematic lesson plan, communicating with subjects of the educational process. The form of practice is full-time / online. Practice bases (comprehensive schools) are determined annually in accordance with agreements with general secondary education institutions.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Educational activities: - visiting and analyzing the lessons of school teachers (at least 5); - visiting and analyzing the lessons of classmates (at least 5); - conducting English lessons (at least 20 for the entire period of practice); - credit lessons (2 lessons); - plans-summaries of credit lessons; - author's innovations in teaching English; - drawing up a calendar-thematic lesson plan for the practice period (for one class); - communication with subjects of the educational process; - report on the completion of pedagogical practice.
Assessment methods and criteria
A student receives a positive grade for practice if he/she: • scored a total of 60 points or more; • scored the minimum number of points according to the following forms of control: - conducting English lessons; - conducting credit classes; - original innovations in teaching English; - communicating with subjects of the educational process; • submitted all necessary documents to the supervisor.
