Know:
1) the successful mastery of specialized courses during the first and second semesters of the master’s program;
2) the main methods of foreign language instruction;
3) the fundamental principles of psychology and foreign language teaching methodology;
4) the specific features of using interactive teaching methods for the Crimean Tatar language in the teacher’s future professional practice.
Be able to:
1) apply basic and professionally oriented knowledge of the fundamentals of philology, history, sociology, and cultural studies;
2) apply interactive methods for teaching the Crimean Tatar language in the teacher’s future professional practice.
Possess:
1) skills in cognitive and professional activities;
2) skills in the culture of thinking and its general principles.
Course content
This course is both theoretical and practical in nature and helps future teachers of the crimean tatar language gain the practical experience necessary for their future professional careers. The content of this course, first, provides future specialists with knowledge of the strategic directions of development in modern higher foreign language education, modern methods and technologies for teaching foreign languages, and the specifics of using interactive teaching methods for the crimean tatar language in a teacher’s future professional practice; second, encourages higher education students to engage in creative activities during theoretical and practical study, and third, provides an opportunity to broaden the scope of future crimean tatar language teachers’ professional practice by applying the knowledge and skills acquired.
The course syllabus consists of two content modules. Classes are conducted in the form of lectures and practical sessions. The course concludes with an exam.

Assessment methods and criteria
Assessment is conducted according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-tier evaluation of the material covered, specifically an assessment of theoretical knowledge, accounting for 40% of the overall grade, and an assessment of practical skills-learning outcomes-accounting for 60% of the overall grade:
1. Oral responses, contributions, participation in discussions, presentations, and reports: 16 - 32 points.
2. Writing a research paper: 2 - 4 points.
3. Preparation of a lesson segment (up to 3 pages) and lesson presentation (15 min.): 6 - 8 points.
4. Writing a module test: 12 - 16 points.
5. Exam: 24 - 40 points.
