PLO 8. Work effectively with information: select the necessary information from various sources, critically analyze and interpret it, organize, classify and systematize it. PLO 10. Know the norms of literary language and be able to apply them in practical activities. PLO 11. Know the principles, technologies and techniques of creating oral and written texts of various genres and styles in the state and English languages ​​and two Western European languages. PLO 12. Analyze language units, determine their interaction and characterize the linguistic phenomena and processes that determine them.

The academic discipline “The Third Language. Spanish” in the 7th semester assumes successful mastery of the previuos course in the 5th and 6th semesters.

The academic discipline “The Third Language. Spanish." is a component of the professional training course of the “Bachelor's degree of the specialty 035 “Philology”. This is an elective discipline for students studying in the educational and professional program “English Studies and Two Foreign Languages​ ​(English as the language of instruction)”. The discipline is taught in 7 semesters in the amount of 10 credits for 136 hours of practical classes and 164 hours of independent work. The course includes 2 content modules and 2 final module tests. The form of semester assessment is an exam.

The maximum number of points during the semester is 60 points, and is based on the following forms of control: independent, creative works, presentations performed in the process of independent work - 10 points (5*2), two intermediate modular tests on four aspects of language competence - 40 points (20*2), completing tasks on theoretical grammar, writing independent works - 10 points (5*2). Semester study of the discipline in the seventh semester ends with an exam and is worth 40 points.
