Prerequisites and co-requisites
− know current problems and research methods in the field of Vietnamese philology (language, literature, translation).
− be able to work with scientific literature and information in the field of Vietnamese philology, process it, make generalizations and conclusions about the trends in the development of the field;
− be able to carry out literary analysis of texts, works of art using the latest methodologies, as well as translate from Vietnamese into Ukrainian and from Ukrainian into Vietnamese;
− have the skills of scientific research search and structural and systemic analysis of professional literature.
Course content
The bachelor's qualification work is a mandatory form of final certification of higher education applicants for the OP "Vietnamese Language and Literature and Translation, French Language" and is a comprehensive research project of education applicants aimed at deepening special skills and knowledge of an innovative nature, analytical and creative application of this knowledge to solve specialized tasks, and solving current practical problems of Vietnamese studies.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Writing a qualifying bachelor's thesis involves choosing a topic for bachelor's research, drawing up a work plan together with a scientific supervisor (choosing a subject, developing a hypothesis, practical research strategies), possible testing of the collected material during the annual conference of young scientists of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Philology of KNU (or within the framework of other scientific events), analysis and theoretical understanding of the collected data and their preparation in a qualifying bachelor's thesis.
Assessment methods and criteria
The work is submitted to the examination committee in writing in the approved form together with other supporting documents: an abstract, a response from the scientific supervisor, a review, the results of the anti-plagiarism check. The public defense of the bachelor's thesis takes place in the form of a presentation using various forms of visualization of the report (graphs, tables, drawings, etc.) and the use of technical means (slides, multimedia projectors, audio, video equipment, computers, etc.). At the public defense, the project manager's response and a review of the bachelor's thesis are announced, and the student also answers the questions of the committee members and the comments of the supervisor and reviewer.
