Learning outcomes
PPH5. Apply analytical and methodological tools to justify proposals and make management decisions by various economic agents (individuals, households, enterprises, and government agencies). PPH6. Use professional arguments to convey information, ideas, problems, and ways to solve them to specialists and non-specialists in the field of economic activity. PPH9. Be aware of the main features of the modern global and national economy, institutional structure, and directions of social, economic, and foreign economic policy. PRI15. Demonstrate basic creative and critical thinking skills in research and professional communication. PPHI9. Use information and communication technologies to solve socio-economic problems and prepare and present analytical reports.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
The basis for studying this discipline is such academic disciplines as: Economics of Foreign Countries, International Organizations, Management, Investing, Business Economics. In turn, the knowledge gained in this discipline contributes to the successful completion of tasks in the disciplines: International Economics, Global Strategies THK. Mastering knowledge about the essence and mechanisms of the international startup ecosystem; forming an understanding of the structure of innovative markets and startup support systems; mastering the basics of preparing business documentation, presentations, and communication with investors; Forming practical skills for participating in international programs and innovation platforms; developing the ability to present startup projects in a global business environment.
Course content
The concept of a startup ecosystem; the process of creating a startup; forming a business model; mechanisms for attracting funding; marketing startups; legal aspects of entering international markets; pitching and investor presentations; institutional infrastructure for innovation; international sources of funding; innovation ratings and indices; development models of global startup ecosystems; international support programs; the Ukrainian startup ecosystem; international business communication and digital tools for the startup environment.

Assessment methods and criteria
Forms of student assessment: (max. 100 points / min. 60 points) - Semester assessment: 1. Module 1: tests, independent work, module test (Min. — 18 points, Max. -30 points). 2. Module 2: surveys, independent work, module test (Min. — 18 points, Max. — 30 points). 3. Completion and presentation of an individual assignment (Mfft. — 12 points, Math. — 20 points). The individual assignment is a study of the startup ecosystem of a selected country in the context of its institutional structure, innovation support tools, opportunities for attracting investment, and international integration of startups into the global market. The work will be submitted before the second module work. Final assessment in the form of a test Final test (Min. — 12 points, Max. — 20 points).
