Learning outcomes
Key provisions of the theory of labor law (system of labor legislation; subjects of labor law and labor relations; legal status of subjects of labor law; grounds and conditions for the emergence of labor relations, approaches to understanding the main categories of labor law). Legal principles of entrepreneurial activity. Features of legal support for conducting entrepreneurial activity in the field of geodesy, cartography and cadastre. Features of the procedure for bringing various types of liability to justice. Norms regulating labor relations (procedure for hiring, transferring, dismissing employees, working hours and rest periods, remuneration, labor protection).

Prerequisites and co-requisites
− possess knowledge, skills and abilities in the disciplines of the social and humanitarian cycle, such as: “Introduction to University Studies”, etc. − know the main categories and concepts related to the life of a person and society. − be able to identify, analyze educational and scientific information, make well-founded conclusions on issues of professional activity. − possess elementary skills in compiling written documents, correcting their content, systematizing materials necessary for work, and effectively organizing one’s own educational activities.
Course content
The discipline belongs to the block of humanitarian and socio-political disciplines, is an organic combination of legal knowledge necessary for the formation of general competencies in specialists of any field of knowledge and industry legislation in the field of geodesy, cartography and cadastre. The discipline includes two content modules.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
1. Test No. 1 — 3rd week of study. Conducted in the form of a written answer to theoretical questions, covering the topics: "Concept, parties and content of an employment contract. Types of employment contracts", "Amendment and termination of an employment contract", "Legal regulation of working hours and rest time", "Legal regulation of labor standards and remuneration" - RN 1.1, RN 1.5 - evaluated from 6 to 10 points. 2. Test No. 2 — 6th week of study. Conducted in the form of a written answer to theoretical questions, covering the topics: "Legal regulation of labor protection", "Labor discipline. Material liability of the parties to an employment contract", "Legal regulation of labor rights protection" - RN 1.13 - evaluated from 6 to 10 points.
Assessment methods and criteria
A student who has scored 40 or more points during the semester in both study blocks shall take the test according to the lists of questions provided by the teacher to students at the beginning of the semester. A student who has scored less than 40 points in both study blocks during the semester shall prepare an essay or other individual assignment, based on the results of which the teacher shall decide whether to admit the student to the test. All resiting of debts or completion of individual assignments shall be terminated in the week preceding the start of the examination session.
