Learning outcomes
LO1. Evaluate one’s own academic and professional activities, and develop and implement an effective strategy for self-development and professional growth. LO4. Evaluate and critically analyze socially, personally, and professionally significant problems and propose solutions to them in complex and unpredictable conditions, which requires the application of new approaches and forecasting. LO5. Find optimal ways of effective interaction within a professional team and with representatives of other professional groups at various levels. LO6. Apply knowledge of expressive, emotional, and logical language tools and speech techniques to achieve a planned pragmatic outcome and facilitate successful communication.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Understand the main stages and characteristics of the historical and cultural process, as well as the place of ethics within the philosophical sciences. 2. Be able to gather and interpret information regarding cultural phenomena and events, as well as cultural processes; identify current sociocultural issues and justify the principles and approaches for their resolution. 3. Possess basic skills in scientific research and information management; critical analysis and forecasting regarding political, economic, and cultural-artistic events and phenomena; and the use of foreign-language professional information sources.
Course content
The discipline "Professional and Corporate Ethics" is included in the list of compulsory disciplines and is taught in the first or second semester of the master's program - in accordance with the curriculum for a specific philological educational program. The discipline is aimed at forming an educated specialist who is ethically competent and morally oriented to perform professional activities in a conscientious, conscious and ethically balanced manner. The subject field of applied, professional and corporate ethics, their place in the structure of ethical knowledge, peculiarities of ethical regulation of professional activity, ethical dimensions of professionalism are determined. The mission and structure of the ethical infrastructure as a tool for managing values in professional and corporate activities, models and functions of ethical departments and ethical documents, including the code of ethics, ethical monitoring and ethical audit as control of ethical activities are clarified. The basics of corporate culture and moral standards of the organization are clarified. The basics of corporate social responsibility are defined. The peculiarities of social and normative specification of morality in a number of social practices in the professional field are considered. In particular, the basics of pedagogical ethics, its structure and subject field are defined, attention is paid to university ethics, the value dynamics of university life in cultural and historical development, the mission of the university in modern socio-cultural practice. The value and normative foundations of the scientist's activity, the ethical dimensions of the relationship between ethics and technology, as well as the peculiarities of social responsibility in science are clarified. The value bases of translation and the norms and principles of translation ethics are highlighted.

Assessment methods and criteria
Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the material learned, in particular, the assessment of theoretical training - learning outcomes (knowledge), which accounts for 40% of the total grade, and the assessment of practical training - learning outcomes (skills), which accounts for 60% of the total grade. Assessment of semester work: 1. Oral answer: 18 - 30 points. 2. Supplements in seminar classes: 5 - 10 points. 3. Participation in discussions and debates at lectures: 12 - 18 points. 4. Essay (lecture module): 13 - 22 points. 5. Final control work: 12 - 20 points.
