Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. To know: theoretical foundations of teaching the Crimean Tatar language: goals, content, approaches, methods and techniques, means of diagnosing students' progress in
Crimean Tatar language.
2. Be able to: effectively build the process of teaching the Crimean Tatar language in accordance with the tasks and conditions of study; use modern methods, technologies
of teaching the Crimean Tatar language; analyze the CLC in the Crimean Tatar language for the purpose of its rational use;
3. Possess elementary skills: applying methodological techniques of teaching the Crimean Tatar language, as well as systematic diagnostics of the quality of knowledge, skills and abilities.
Course content
The off-campus teaching practicum for second-year Master’s degree students (210 hours, 7 credits) in the specialty 035 Philology (035.02 “Crimean Tatar Language and Literature”) is a mandatory component of the student’s curriculum, the field of study being philology, with the aim of enabling students to master the fundamental principles and concepts in the field of teaching the Crimean Tatar language in higher education. The internship (assistant internship) is an integral part of the professional training of specialists in mastering their future professional activities, aimed at ensuring the development of professional and pedagogical skills and abilities through their subsequent application in practice. The teaching assistant internship contributes to the development of professional awareness, communication skills, and the formation of the theoretical, practical, and personal-motivational components of students’ professional competence. Additionally, during the internship, students develop teaching skills and their own creative teaching style.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Development of an individual schedule of practical classes, plans and notes for practical classes; attendance at lecturers' classes; analysis of classes attended;
conducting trial and test classes; preparation and defense of reporting documentation on the assistantship, work with dictionaries, text
dictionaries, text corpora, the Internet, sources in the Crimean Tatar language (legislative framework).
Assessment methods and criteria
Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the material learned, in particular, assessment of theoretical training - learning outcomes (knowledge), which accounts for 40% of the total grade, and assessment of practical training - learning outcomes (skills), which accounts for 60% of the total grade.
Evaluation of work during the internship:
1. Participation in the orientation conference and work planning: 10 - 20 points.
2. Visiting and analyzing the classes of the department's teachers: 5 - 10 points.
3. Conducting trial seminars or practical classes in the specialty, improving the ability to self-analyze the classes: 5 - 10 points.
4. Detailed plan-concept of the test lesson, conducting a test lesson: 10 - 20 points.
5. Implementation of the plan of assistant practice: 5 - 10 points.
6. Preparation of a written report: 7 - 10 points.
