Prerequisites and co-requisites
To know: - semantic differences of words; - basic grammatical categories of the Crimean Tatar language. Be able to: - use basic and professionally oriented knowledge of the basics of philology, history, sociology and cultural studies; - apply the acquired knowledge in practice. Possess basic skills: - cognitive and professional activity; - culture of thinking, its general laws.
Course content
As a result of this course, students develop skills in working with authentic discourse on a variety of topics. Their ability to comprehend and accurately reproduce highly complex texts when heard is enhanced. Their oral communication skills in various communicative situations are refined. Students develop practical skills in mastering professional oral communication techniques through the selection of optimal forms and types of classes that closely resemble the future work of interpreters. Classes are conducted as practical sessions. The course concludes with a final exam.

Practical classes, independent work.
Assessment methods and criteria
Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the material learned, in particular, the assessment of theoretical training - learning outcomes, which accounts for 40% of the total grade, and the assessment of practical training, which accounts for 60% of the total grade. Assessment of semester work: 1. Work in practical classes: 15 - 30 points. 2. Creative and research tasks: 15 - 30 points. 3. Module work №1: 8 - 10 points. 4. Module work # 2: 8 - 10 points. 5. Final control work: 14 - 20 points. 6. Credit: 12 - 20 points.
