Learning outcomes
LO7. Analyze, compare, and classify various trends and schools in Crimean Tatar linguistics.
LO9. Describe the theoretical foundations (concepts, categories, principles, key terms, etc.) and applied aspects of Crimean Tatar philology.
Learning Outcome 14. Create, analyze, and edit texts of various styles and genres.
LO16. Apply specialized conceptual knowledge in Crimean Tatar philology to solve complex tasks and problems requiring the updating and integration of knowledge, often under conditions of incomplete or insufficient information and conflicting requirements.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know:
1) successful mastery of specialized subjects during previous bachelor’s-level courses;

3) the main historical stages of the development of the Crimean Tatar language;

Course content
The aim of this course is to familiarize students with the main contemporary trends in Crimean Tatar linguistics and the key directions in global linguistics, taking into account current transformations in the humanities. Another important aspect of this course is its focus on the methodological foundations of Crimean Tatar linguistics in the context of the approved Concept for the Development of the Crimean Tatar Language (2022–2032). Another mandatory component of this educational module is the development of skills in linguistic text analysis using various methods. The course is part of the required curriculum and is both theoretical and practical in nature, helping students acquire foundational knowledge of contemporary linguistic approaches to the Crimean Tatar language and methods of text analysis using modern approaches and techniques. Particular attention is focused on comparing processes occurring in the Crimean Tatar, Ukrainian, Turkish, and English languages. The course curriculum consists of one content module. Classes are conducted in the form of lectures and seminars. The course concludes with an exam.

Assessment methods and criteria
Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides for a two-level assessment of the material learned, in particular, the assessment of theoretical training - learning outcomes, which accounts for 40% of the total grade, and the assessment of practical training, which accounts for 60% of the total grade.
Assessment of semester work:
1. Oral answer: 21 - 28 points.
2. Additions, participation in the discussion: 3 - 6 points.
3. Individual work (presentation of the report (10 minutes): 4 - 8 points.
4. Modular control work: 8 - 18 points.
5. Exam: 24 - 40 points.
