Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. To know: the theoretical foundations of teaching philological disciplines, how a master's major is made up: goals, content, approaches, methods and methodological techniques, means, forms of organization of the learning process; forms, methods and means of diagnosing students' success. 2. To be able to: effectively build the process of learning philological disciplines, as the major of the master's degree in higher education institutions is made up in accordance with the tasks and conditions of study; use modern methods, technologies for teaching philological disciplines, technologies for diagnosing students' knowledge, skills, and abilities; to analyze NMC from relevant disciplines with the aim of their rational use; to select language/literary material, techniques, means of teaching disciplines from the profession; draw up lesson plans-summaries, organize, conduct and analyze lessons.
Course content
The purpose of the discipline (assistant practice) is to develop the master's students' ability and willingness to plan, organize, implement and manage the learning process of philological disciplines in institutions of higher education; formation of master's students' readiness to work as an teacher in a higher education institution.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Participation in an instructional conference, familiarization with the practice base, study of educational documentation. Acquaintance with the groups in which practice will be conducted. Compilation of psychological characteristics of groups. Attending teacher's classes. Preparation, conducting and analysis of classes. Work as an teacher. Participation in the organization of students' extracurricular work. Preparation of reporting documentation. Participation in the final conference on pedagogical practice.
Assessment methods and criteria
Work as a foreign language teacher. Each lesson is evaluated by 6 points. Then a coefficient is derived from the calculation that the maximum number of points should be 84. Development of plans-summaries of credit lessons (2 lessons, maximum 6 points for each). Defense of reporting documentation. Participation in the discussion of the results of pedagogical practice (maximum 4 points).
