Learning outcomes
PLO 2. Be confident in the state and foreign languages ​​for the implementation of written and oral communication, in particular in situations of professional and scientific communication; present the results of research in the state and foreign languages. PLO 3. Apply modern methods and technologies, in particular information, for the successful and effective implementation of professional activities and ensuring the quality of scientific research in a specific philological field. PLO 10. Collect and systematize linguistic, literary, folklore facts, interpret and translate texts of various styles and genres (depending on the chosen specialization). PLO 16. Use specialized conceptual knowledge from the field of Hindi philology to solve complex tasks and problems that require updating and integrating knowledge, often in conditions of incomplete/insufficient information and conflicting requirements.

Successful mastery of the disciplines "Practical Hindi Grammar", "Practical Hindi Course", "Hindi Stylistics", "Hindi Lexicology", "Theory and Practice of Hindi Translation", "Genre Features of Hindi Translation", "Linguistic and Stylistic Features of Translation of Hindi Business Texts", "Methodology and Methods of Translation Studies Disciplines".
Course content
The purpose of the discipline is to improve the Hindi language competences of master's students within four types of speech activity in the field of professional communication; mastering the main qualitative communicative features of speech culture (correctness, accuracy, logic, meaningfulness, appropriateness, expressiveness, purity). Classes are held in the form of practical classes, independent work is provided - performing oral and written translations and other types of language activities. The discipline ends with a test in the 1st semester, and with an exam in the 2nd semester.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Planned educational activities: practical classes (40 hours/week), independent work (80 hours/week), modular tests, essays, presentations, discussions. Teaching methods: communicative (debates, media discussions), translation (written and oral translation), research (working with sources), IT technologies. Control: test in the 1st semester, exam in the 2nd semester.
Assessment methods and criteria
The grade is given based on the results of work during the semester (max. 100 points) without additional measures. Assessment methods: Oral answers and participation in discussions (max. 20 points). Test tasks (max. 10 points). Research task (essay/presentation) (max. 10 points). Modular tests (2 MKRs of 10 points each, max. 20 points). Criteria: “Passed” is given when 60–100 points are obtained.
