PRN 4. Evaluate and critically analyze socially, personally and professionally significant problems and propose ways to solve them in complex and unpredictable conditions, which requires the use of new approaches and forecasting. PRN 10. Collect and systematize linguistic, literary, folklore facts, interpret and translate texts of various styles and genres (depending on the chosen specialization). PRN 11. Carry out a scientific analysis of language, speech and literary material, interpret and structure it taking into account appropriate methodological principles, formulate generalizations based on independently processed data.

Successful mastering of professional disciplines: "Fundamentals of linguistics", "Linguistics of the countries of the Arab East", "Fundamentals of Arabic translation theory", "History of the Arabic language", "Introduction to Arabic philology", "Arabic language: advanced level", "Arabic lexicology ", "Fundamentals of Arabic translation practice", "Theoretical grammar of the Arabic language", "The language of the Qur'an and Qur'anic studies", "Medieval Arabic literature", "Medieval Arabic prose: linguistic aspect", "Arabic classical poetics"; Knowledge of phonetics, vocabulary and grammar of the modern Arabic language obtained from a practical Arabic language course; Knowledge of linguistic terminology and basic laws of language development.

1. The goal of the discipline is to provide students with special and in-depth knowledge of the methodology of artistic translation, to inculcate the skills to carry out a critical analysis of already existing translations and to perform their own artistic translations of literary works from the Arabic language into Ukrainian.

Teaching takes place in the form of interactive lectures and seminars. Independent work of students.

Semester assessment is based on the following: answers to seminar classes, reports with analysis of scientific literature, presentations / abstracts - 24/40 points; module tests - 12/20 points. Final assessment in the form of an exam: max. 40 / min. 24 points.
