Prerequisites and co-requisites
To know: approaches, principles, teaching methods, forms of organization of higher education; methodical principles of formation of knowledge, skills and abilities; psychological principles of teaching in higher education institutions. To be able to: develop plans-summaries and conduct lectures, practical, seminar classes at the higher education institution; adhere to the approaches and principles of higher education, choose and use optimal methods and methodical techniques. Students must take a course in pedagogy and psychology at a higher school.
Course content
The goal of the discipline is the formation of students' methodological competence – knowledge and skills, the ability and readiness to plan, organize, implement, reflect on the process of learning English in higher education institutions, control and evaluate the educational achievements of students.

Assessment methods and criteria
– the credit test, which is performed individually by a student, is estimated at a maximum of 20 points. – a student is not allowed to take the test if he scored less than 48 points, did not write the MKR and did not submit a project. The credit test contains 10 short-answer questions, 2 open-ended questions, the specific weight of each of them is max. 5 points.
