PLO 10. Збирати й систематизувати мовні, літературні, фольклорні факти, інтерпретувати й перекладати тексти різних стилів і жанрів (залежно від обраної спеціалізації). PLO 14. Створювати, аналізувати й редагувати тексти різних стилів та жанрів. PLO 21. Застосовувати знання й уміння, необхідні для забезпечення адекватного письмового та усного арабсько-українського двостороннього перекладу у різних галузях господарства та життєдіяльності людини.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1) successful mastery of the professional disciplines "Lexicology of the Arabic language", "Stylistics of the Arabic language", "Theory and methodology of Arabic translation", "Arabic language for professional communication", "Translation of scientific texts"; 2) knowledge of the features of the grammatical and stylistic features of the Arabic language, the theory and methodology of Arabic translation, the principles of analyzing linguistic material.
Course content
The purpose of the discipline is to acquaint students with the specifics of oral and written Arabic-Ukrainian court translation; learning Arabic-Ukrainian equivalents of legal terminology, vocabulary and phraseology used in court translation; acquiring skills in applying translation transformations typical for this type of texts.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The discipline provides only practical classes aimed at developing students' skills in oral and written translation of the specified types of texts. Completion of homework and translation exercises is mandatory. Control from the teacher's side is carried out by means of an oral survey and the organization of written tasks, tests, lexical dictations, modular control works.
Assessment methods and criteria
The semester number of points is formed by the points received by the student in the process of mastering the material from the entire academic course. The overall grade for the semester consists of points received for classroom work (which synthesizes and independent work on the processing of theoretical material in preparation for the classroom: oral answers, additions, written translations) and for independent work (making translations). All types of work for the semester have a total of: - in the maximum dimension - 100 points, 7 - in the minimum dimension - 60 points. In case of absence from the seminar session, the student must complete the assignment for the seminar. Final assessment: credit.
