Learning outcomes
PLO 20. Apply modern pedagogical methods and technologies in the organization of the educational process and methodological work in higher education. PLO 21. Develop and improve curricula for academic disciplines in Arabic and French/English, educational and methodological materials. PLO 22. Conduct training sessions, provide consultations to students in academic disciplines in Arabic and French/English, as well as provide individual support to the student (tutoring, mentoring) during their studies, using modern innovative methods and technologies of education in higher education. PLO 23. Conduct objective assessment of learning outcomes (certification) and provide recommendations for improving learning outcomes. PLO 24. Use specialized psychological knowledge in the organization of the main types of activities in a higher education institution, apply psychological methods for optimizing the educational process.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1) knowledge of a practical course of an oriental language (Arabic) in the amount of 4 years of study; 2) knowledge of the theoretical foundations of teaching oriental languages ​​(Arabic); 3) knowledge of ways to form oriental language competencies of oriental studies students; 4) knowledge of ways to form oriental language competencies of oriental studies students.
Course content
The purpose of the discipline is to form the communicative, methodical and professional competence of students as teachers of the Arabic language in a higher education institution. The discipline is aimed at elucidating the theoretical foundations of Arabic learning and ways of forming Arabic phonetic, lexical and grammatical competences and competences in four types of speech activity. The discipline is an integral part of scientific research component of the educational program.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Learning activities comprise interactive lectures, seminar classes and self-study of students. Self-study involves preparation for oral responses, scientific reports and research presentation, creating sets of exercises, analyzing and conducting fragments of lessons.
Assessment methods and criteria
The semester number of points is formed by the points received by the student in the process of mastering the material from the entire academic course. The overall grade for the semester consists of points received for classroom work (which synthesizes and independent work on the processing of theoretical material in preparation for the classroom: oral answers, supplements, tests, presentation defense) and for independent work (preparation of a presentation, essay). In case of absence from a seminar class, the student must complete the assignment for the seminar. All types of work for the semester have a total of: - in the maximum dimension - 60 points, - in the minimum dimension - 36 points. Final assessment: exam.
