Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the main historical figures and main events in the history of Ukraine. 2. To be able to determine the results and consequences of the most important events in the history of Ukraine. 3. Possess elementary skills of working with educational literature.
Course content
The goal of the discipline is to form students a systematic idea of historical connections Ukraine with the East, the "Ukrainian policy" of the countries of the East, their mutual relations with Ukraine.

Lectures, practical classes. Independent work.
Assessment methods and criteria
Knowledge control is based on a modular rating system. The course is divided into two modules (topics 1–6 and 7–9), which include lectures, seminars, essays and tests. The overall assessment (max. 100 points) consists of the results of semester work (max. 80 points) and the final assessment (max. 20 points). To successfully complete the course, it is mandatory to pass the current and modular control.
