Course content

This course is an integral part of developing the professional and practical competencies of future philologists. The aim of the course is to provide students with a thorough understanding of the specifics of turkish divan literature through the analysis of the lives and creative paths of writers of this period, as well as the ability to analyze poetic works from the 13th to the 18th centuries. This course is a logical continuation of the «General theoretical course in turkic languages» and involves an in-depth study of the writers and literary works of the turkish divan, as well as the various genres of divan poetry. The course is taught in the form of lectures and seminars over the course of one semester and concludes with a continuous modular assessment.
