Assessment methods and criteria
Assessment is conducted on a 100-point scale (with a minimum of 60 points for a passing grade). The criteria encompass oral responses, written assignments (exercises, dictations, tests), the preparation and defense of presentations, and a final control paper. The maximum score is awarded for fluent and reasoned mastery of the material, the use of both mandatory and supplementary literature, profound topic coverage, and a high technical standard of task execution. Lower scores reflect insufficient argumentation, inaccuracies, or a lack of independent research. Test assignments are considered passed if more than 60% of the tasks are completed correctly. The final semester grade is the sum of points earned for both in-class and independent activities, including the final control paper (consisting of tests and open-ended questions). Intermediate control is granted automatically based on systematic performance throughout the semester without additional procedures.
