Learning outcomes
PLO 1. Communicate freely on professional issues with experts and non- experts in Ukrainian and a foreign language, in oral and in written form, use these languages to organize effective cross-cultural communication. PLO 2. Process information effectively: collect relevant information from a variety of sources, including professional literature and electronic databases, critically analyze and interpret it, organize, classify and systematize it. PLO 6. Use information and communication technologies to solve complex specialized tasks and issues of professional activity. PLO 18. Have the skills to manage complex activities or projects in solving complicated problems in professional activity in the framework of the selected philological specialization and be responsible for making decisions under unpredictable conditions.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Before starting the study of this discipline, students must successfully master the grammar and syntax of the Ancient Greek and Latin languages, be able to work with educational and scientific information in the field of Classical Philology, process it, make generalizations and conclusions, and have basic research skills.
Course content
Purpose of the practice: to gain knowledge of the types of information resources; knowledge and skills of processing information through production, conducting bibliographic searches, familiarization with the methodology of bibliographic research, inventorying primary sources, conducting paleographic, historical and philological analysis. The practice is designed to reveal the level of assimilation by students of modern methods of processing and publishing historical documents and sources, checking source information when building the factual foundation of scientific research, the intensity of studying documentary materials and the effectiveness of all stages of scientific work from choosing a topic, selecting linguistic material, finding the necessary information, and analyzing it, processing, systematization, generalization before publication of an independent scientific research. The internship helps to form the ability to acquire new knowledge independently and the willingness to apply it for solving problems in the professional activity.

Assessment methods and criteria
The professional internship assessment comprises four stages. The introductory stage (max. 10 points) is based on participation in the initial meeting and initiative in choosing a research topic. The preparatory stage (max. 10) involves creating a work plan and mastering bibliographic description methods. The core production stage (max. 60) requires compiling source lists, preparing a Bachelor's thesis abstract, writing an essay, and forming a linguistic corpus of 150 units. The final stage (max. 20) includes report preparation and a presentation defense. According to the grading scale: 90–100 points correspond to "Excellent"; 75–89 points to "Good"; 60–74 points to "Satisfactory"; and 1–59 points to "Fail." High scores are awarded for meeting deadlines, adhering to formatting requirements, professional autonomy, and the absence of errors. The final result is the sum of points across all stages, reflecting the student's level of professional competence.
