Course content
The aim of the course is to prepare students for the organization of social work in crisis and traumatic conditions of life of clients who are in difficult life circumstances. Social work with this category of clients is carried out within the "extreme crisis situation", as a result of which, under the influence of external and internal factors, previously formed behavioral strategies are violated, and mechanisms to restore balance are absent. Such work requires mastery of the technology of providing social and psychological emergency support to clients in extreme and crisis conditions of life. Therefore, the organization of social work is based on a problem-oriented approach, which involves the activation and maintenance of the client's abilities and resources.
