Course content
The purpose of the course is to provide students with systematic knowledge about the patterns of human mental development at different age stages, the psychological characteristics of learning, education, and socialization of the individual, as well as to develop the ability to analyze age-related and individual psychological characteristics of a person in professional practice.
The course covers theoretical and practical aspects of developmental and educational psychology, including:
patterns of personality mental development;
psychological characteristics of the main stages of human development;
mechanisms of socialization and personality formation;
psychological foundations of teaching and education;
age-related and individual characteristics of the psyche;
psychological factors of effective pedagogical interaction.
Special attention is paid to the formation of a humanistic worldview, understanding the uniqueness of each individual, developing professional communication skills, tolerance, and respect for people.

Final assessment: examination.
