Learning outcomes
Аcquisition of teaching skills and experience, development of the ability to explain the material in the mode of individual work. Assistance during the semester when students take junior courses in mathematical and physical disciplines will allow to increase the level of understanding of basic subjects by the masters themselves. It is also envisaged to acquire skills in the organizational and educational work of a higher education teacher
Form of study
Full-time form
Prerequisites and co-requisites
It is assumed that the student has a solid knowledge of the disciplines, additional work on which will be organized by the intern, in particular, mathematical analysis, mechanics, linear algebra and analytical geometry. At the same time, tutoring practice allows you to master the methods of individual work with students, in particular, with those first-year students who experience difficulties in transitioning to the university level.
Course content
Tutoring practice allows you to acquire practical pedagogical skills when working with junior students of a higher education institution, ensures the application of existing knowledge within the framework of the real educational process. During the practice, the ability to organize individual work, explain difficult-to-understand material, and establish contact with other students is developed. Practicing during the semester allows you to organize systematic work with control over its results, and it is also important for junior students, especially first-year students at the initial stage of their studies. The main base for practicing is the Faculty of Physics. The decision on the possibility of using another structural unit of KNU (or another higher education institution) as a practice base is made at a meeting of the Department of Astronomy and Space Physics before the student begins to perform the practice tasks
Recommended or required reading and other learning resources/tools

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
As part of their tutoring practice, masters conduct consultations and engage in individual work with students of the 1st-2nd year of a higher education institution (as a rule, based on the physics faculty, with attention primarily to such disciplines as mathematical analysis, mechanics, linear algebra, and analytical geometry), and perform organizational and educational work.
Assessment methods and criteria
Semester assessment:
Consultations – 60 points
- final assessment
Differentiated test – 40 points
- admission conditions for the final test:
- conducting at least ten hours of consultations on the disciplines of physics and mathematics available in the curriculum at a higher education institution during the semester
